REMEMBRANCE: Stones To Pay Respects Before Tuesday’s KO

Wealdstone FC will honour those who’ve served their countries with a tribute before kick-off at the National League Cup Group A fixture against Derby County this Tuesday evening, November 3 (7.00pm ko); the nearest home fixture to Remembrance Sunday.

The club intends to film the pre-match ceremony, so those unable to attend can watch the Stones’ paying due respects via a video clip to be published upon the club’s digital communication channels.

Would supporters planning to attend the match that wish to join both sets of players & staff in the act of Remembrance please gather near the dugouts by 6.50pm, in time for the teams to take to the field.

The Stones extend their thanks to the Harrow Poppy Appeal and locally-based members of the Armed Forces for their support in ensuring a fitting pre-match ceremony takes place.

Thanks in advance for your co-operation on Tuesday evening at The Vale.
