SIGNED: Muskwe Makes Stones Move

Wealdstone Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Admiral Muskwe, who joins on a permanent deal subject to FA and National League clearance.

The Zimbabwe international signs after spending last season at Morecambe, where he scored five goals in 17 appearances for the Shrimpers.

The striker began his career at Leicester City, where he was named the club’s Academy Player of the Season in 2016 before sealing a move to then Championship side Luton Town.

In his time with The Hatters combined with an earlier loan with Wycombe Wanderers, Muskwe has made just under 40 appearances in the football league’s highest division.

Admiral has spent the last few weeks training with The Stones, impressing Gary Waddock enough to seal a move. Stones supporters may also remember him scoring against Wealdstone during a dramatic 4–3 defeat at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium last season.

On the signing of Muskwe, Gary Waddock said: “Admiral has been with us for a few weeks now and has impressed everyone with his attitude and application. He gives us another strong option at the top end of the pitch, and his pace and power will make him a valuable addition to the squad.

“He has settled into the group well and has already shown in pre-season what he can offer. We’re delighted to have him on board and look forward to working with him.”

 Welcome to Wealdstone, Admiral!
