SIGNED: Harris Is Summer Signing Number Three

WEALDSTONE FC is pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Jayden Harris.

The 26-year-old recently brought to an end a two-year spell with fellow Enterprise National League club Sutton United, which included over 40 appearances last season.

Gary Waddock, Wealdstone manager, said of Harris’ signature: “It’s great to get someone of Jayden’s experience over the line.

“He had a good season last year with a number of goals and assists for Sutton. That’s no surprise, really, because he gets into good attacking areas.”

A product of Fulham’s academy set-up, Harris joined Aldershot Town in summer 2021 after a brief loan spell at Woking.

His form earned a move to Carlisle United the following year, and then another loan at Eastleigh during season 2023/24.

“We’ve got to know him well recently, which is a real plus, and it’s also a big positive that he’s familiar with this level,” added the Stones’ boss.

“We’ll have a group with more younger players scattered around, so Jayden’s extra experience will prove key.”

Harris’s two seasons at Gander Green Lane, starting summer 2024, saw him rack up over 60 club appearances for the U’s.
