Wealdstone Football club is delighted to announce the signing of Abraham Kanu on a three-month loan from Reading.
The defender joins having spent last season in the National League with Forest Green Rovers, making more than 30 league appearances for Robbie Savage’s side as they ended the season in the play-off places.
Kanu has progressed through the ranks at Reading, starting his football career in their youth setup before advancing to the Under-18 team, representing them on 34 occasions in the U18 Premier league.
The 21-year-old signed his professional contract in 2024. During the 2024/25 season, he made 10 appearances in League One for the Royals as well as featuring in six cup matches.
