FOUNDATION: Help Our ‘Maths In Schools’ Project Reach A Tidy Sum!
STONES’ fans and friends of Stones, here’s a great chance to play a part in Wealdstone FC’s Community Foundation’s wish to bring a Year 3 Maths Programme to as big a number of local schools as possible.

A Crowdfunder campaign is currently live and right now is just short of qualifying for matched funding from Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I (SBF GB&I) – whose employees have been pledging sums under the company’s ‘Together For Good’ community fund.
The drinks manufacturing giant, with a UK headquarters in Uxbridge, are generously match-funding any donations made by those who’d like to see the Stones successfully deliver this project for local children.
As a Registered Charity, Wealdstone FC’s Community Foundation is entirely self-sustaining, so support from as many different places as possible is crucial to the success of its programmes; and, specifically right now, ‘Maths In Schools’.
But don’t just take our word for it. here’s a personal note from Fraser McIntosh, SBF GB&I’s Head of External Affairs & Sustainability…

“I’m Fraser from Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I, the proud owners of Ribena and Lucozade. This year, we’ve launched a five-year Community Fund to support local not-for-profit causes that make a positive difference in their communities.
With our head office in Hillingdon (Borough), we’re especially keen to support projects making an impact close to home. That’s why we’re delighted that the Wealdstone FC Foundation has successfully applied for support for its brilliant ‘Maths in Schools’ programme, which uses sport to help young people build skills, confidence and belief.
This is a match-funding opportunity, which means every eligible donation can go even further.
If you’re able to, please get behind the campaign and make a donation. Together, we can help create a bigger, lasting impact for young people and the wider local community.”
How do I support the project?
Simple – to find out a little more about the programme and to then donate – which will be match-funded as you’ve read above – please click HERE.
Wealdstone FC Foundation needs a set minimum number of donations from individual people in order to unlock the SB&F GB&I matched funding, so even if it’s £1, every separate contribution is pushing towards a very positive outcome.

The more money donated, the more young children can benefit Wealdstone FC Foundation’s ‘Maths In Schools’ programme. It’s that simple.
Up The Stones – and thanks for your support!
