WEALDSTONE will travel to Dover Athletic in the First Round Proper of this season’s Emirates FA Cup, after ball numbers 80 and 74 were the first two to emerge from the velvet bag during the draw made live on TNT Sports.
It’s a first trip to Crabble for Stones since a November 2021 National League 3-2 win under floodlights (see featured image).
Dover Athletic and predecessor Dover have been long-time Wealdstone adversaries over the years across clashes in both the Isthmian and Southern Leagues.
The Whites currently sit just outside the Enterprise National League South play-off places under the guidance of manager Jake Leberl – a former long-serving player for the Kent club.
They beat divisional rivals Dorking Wanderers 3-2 at home in the Fourth Qualifying Round while Stones saw off Worthing 3-0.
First Round ties will be played across the weekend of Saturday November 7, with the final date & kick-off time due for confirmation once ties for live television transmission have been chosen.
Ticket sales information will follow thereafter.
