FA CUP 4QR DRAW: Wealdstone Handed Home Tie Versus Worthing

Wealdstone will host fellow Enterprise National League club Worthing at The Vale on Saturday October 17 with a 3.00pm kick-off (unless moved for live TV transmission) in the Fourth Qualifying Round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup.

The two teams were paired together via the draw which took place live on talkSPORT during Monday (October 5) afternoon.

The Stones will be looking to go one better than last year and reach the Third Round, only achieved once back in season 1977/78.

After wins over Whitstable Town and Southend United, EFL League Two Grimsby Town exacted revenge for a cup shock the season before by putting out Sam Cox’s team in FA Cup Round Two.

Worthing lost to Forest Green Rovers at this 4th Qualifying Round stage in 2025/26, and are aiming to reach the First Round proper for the seventh time in their history.

This tie will mark the 14th meeting of the two clubs. Before August’s National League clash at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium, which Worthing won with a single goal, matches between the sides had been exclusively in Ryman League action, with Stones having come out on top on eight occasions.

Ticket prices and sales arrangements will follow as soon as possible after the date & time of the fixture has been confirmed for certain.
