SIGNED: Jack Wells-Morrison Agrees New Deal

MIDFIELDER Jack Wells-Morrison is set for a third spell at Wealdstone, the club is delighted to confirm.

And this time, it’ll be a longer permanent contract for the former Crystal Palace academy scholar.

Crucially, as he talks about in an interview with wealdstonefc-com to be published tomorrow, Wells-Morrison got injured during pre-season last summer – just when options from different clubs were about to take shape following his release from the Eagles.

“You saw his quality last season,” said Stones’ boss Gary Waddock, who is delighted to secure the 22-year-old’s signature, and felt the playmaker kept improving during a run of appearances which culminated in a start at Wembley Stadium in The Isuzu FA Trophy Final.

“He’s an intelligent player and does both sides of the game well.

“It’s a real positive he can give us that balance as well being left-footed.”

Wells-Morrison first arrived at The Vale on loan from Palace during the first half of season 2024/25, featuring around 20 times before spending the latter part of that campaign on loan at Solihull Moors.

A sojourn north of the border for a short-term stint at Ross County starting in December 2025 preceded his return back to more familiar surroundings; HA4 in particular and a second spell with the Stones from Spring 2026 onwards.

Read more from Jack tomorrow. For now, it’s a big welcome back to the Stones!
